Blatherskite,
I will give you an answer to your 'unambiguous question'; search for it, if you even have a Bible. Though I understand you would not read it even if you did, as you are not a genuine seeker after Christ, and you do not need to know how your master ended up here.

Actually, I have searched for it. But as a biblical scholar, I would have expected something resembling a useful answer from you. You never fail to disappoint.
Here's the mentions of Satan in the bible:
1) An ANGEL by that name makes a bet with God concerning Job. With God's permission, Satan torments Job. That story makes up most of the book, only excepting Job's self-pitying lamentations.
2) Satan tempts Jesus in the Synoptic Gospels.
And since there is no further information given about Satan between Job and the Gospels, it is reasonable to assume that both are the same ANGEL.
Tough luck for you, dude, but all that stuff you take for granted about Satan comes from Zoroastrianism. His real name is Ahriman.

Too much "wretched intellect" I think, so the subject line became...

I can't believe I just read the entire backlog just to have him unsubcribe on us again! Fascinating stuff though, well done lads.
It's good to have the guy actually engage us nowadays, no matter how frustrating communicating with him can be sometimes.

'Communication' involves a bi-directional exchange of information. That machine is an output-only device.

Exactly Blatherskite, that was the point I was going to make. A conversation requires clear communication and common understanding with the others involved. When Justin says things we don't understand (and that's quite a lot of stuff he says) we naturally have to question him to clarify what he means if we are to carry on the conversation.
Justin then takes this as us challenging and questioning his faith and his DSL connection with Almighty God, also claiming that we are trolls. We are just trying to converse with the guy! We aren't even using the 'wretched tool' of intellect to destroy his faith, we are merely talking to him, or attempting to.
He is all too eager to be percecuted, as this justifies and solidifies his faith. It makes sense, if he sees satan everywhere trying to chip away at his beliefs then his beliefs *must* be true, right? 'For is is written'.

how did I get here ?
Armageddon - how bad was that movie?

Madent .
Thanks for the 'faith'. The proof, however, lies in Justin's recent journal entries. I must admit that I paraphrased him as he actually recommends emasculation for a first offence (which rather begs the question of how the perpetrator commits the second....?) and death for the second.
He also calls for the death sentence for unrepentant homosexuals and sodomists, and nurses or doctors involved in abortion.
Blessings,
Matholwch the Apostate /|\.
