Well, not photography so much as video tapes. I have a whole bunch of old camcorder tapes that I want to put onto DVD. Do you know is that an easy peasy job that any old high street camera shop could handle, or do I need to find someone who specialises?

Not all photo shops, no, but many do. Chances are they will send the tapes onto a specialist. Place I used to work used a company, but the name escapes me at present
Usually costs about £20 per tape, depending on length. I don't think these things are done 'as you wait' though. usually a send-away job

Meant to say though, that price goes down with quantity required usually. My pricing may be out of date now - seems to be a popular market (just put 'tape to DVD conversion' into google) so their may be better prices when you shop around.

Thanks! Not too worried about price as it's for my parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary, so me and my sisters have a reasonably healthy budget to play with.
