Just thought I'd say that not offending certain people here would require you to be *tactful* beyond all human possibility.

Some people - as well as lacking any sort of visible sense of humour - just have these huge chips on their shoulders and no matter what you say or do they will find a way of making it look like you've done something to knock it off.

I thought you were being rather amusing, to be honest.

Thanks you This site does seem to be heading in a sanatised -fluffy clouds -family friendly kind of direction, where any post that is the slightest bit confrontational, is pounced on. I happen to think it's a good thing for people to sometimes be exposed to unusual or non-mainstream points of view.

In the dogs and cats thread for example, i would imagine that many dog owners, who are surrounded in their daily lives by other doggy people, would never hear an opinion such as mine, and never consider that not everyone finds their pets fun to be with. Maybe this was a shock for Kelli. But shocks are good. Anytime people have pointed out my own personal failings to me, i've found it intially hurtful, but ultimatly helpful and illuminating. We all get caught up in our own lives, and it is always useful to hear an outsider's view of your life or things you presume to be normal, that others may not.

So anyway- ta for the support
