Hi Buffy,
Make sure you've changed the little button at the bottom from "plain text" to "guideML"... I think that could be the problem

Ah! I see what you mean now! I was a bit confused at first, you looked like someone who had a good grip on guideML
I've never attempted to do something like this before, so here are my best suggestions... one of them has to work, right?
I think that you need to put the guideML that you want to appear how it is within tags for it to work... You might also be able to do it by putting the guideML inside a guestbook, but I'm not sure about that one...
Hope that helps!
Good luck

Guestbooks are explained here... http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/GuideML-GUESTBOOK but the problem is, you need a forum to link them to, and if the person clicks on it, the text will disappear... Are you sure the tag didn't work? That's how I've seen it done before... Well, at least that's how it's been one at A1131418... check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/test1131418
The best way to work there things out is often by example... If I'm not use, it's probably best to ask Unc, she's much better at this stuff than I am

Hiya, I finally figured it out with that test page link you gave me, took a few hours but got there in the end the code is instead of a < you put < and instead of > you put > so it goes something like this <TABLE HEIGHT="50">
So now you know too, ready for the next person that asks
Thanks very much for your help
