I'm a cubicle dweller in Silicon Valley, California. I'm a rarity in that I was born and raised in the San Jose area. Most of my neighbors and co-workers came from elsewhere. Having been born here and living here nearly 50 years, I've seen this area change quite a bit. So I plan to contribute to discussions on this area and occasionally on other places I've visited.
