All I need to be happy

all I need to be happy

Good AS grades, especially in English Literature.

Another, better paid job over the summer so I can actually get some money into my account for university.

To keep up on my exercising, eventually a flat stomach will be mine.

To not give up so easily.

Read more widely - don't get stumped at the uni interview when they enquire about the last novel which I perused.

Get tanned legs. Running in shorts with my legs is just not attractive.

Buy the new Rimmel mascara.

Mum and dad to have a good time on holiday.

Somebody I can fancy from a distance.

Chocolate.

and then I thought of the consequences

I've just ordered my first online product! I am no longer the internet sceptic I once was, hell it was damn fun. Only problem is that I've just spent £15, and I only earn £21 a week. Oh well, the top is lovely, and if it turns out not to be then I'll harrass them until they give me my money back.

Just been looking through my uni prospectus'. How bloody scary. Kat, I need hints and tips on how to survive this please!

so i said 'mummy, what does destiny mean?'

Myself and my good friend Lee went to see Destiny's child on Friday night – do not laugh, they were amazing. Obviously, Beyonce’s hair was the star of the show but there were other attractions I would have hated too have missed.

The support acts were pretty good – two out of three at least. ‘Heist’ were on first, and one of their songs was very, very good. Group consists of a DJ, MC and guitarist, worth listening out for I think. Next up was ‘Boniface’ (Lee pronounced it bon-ee-face much to my amusement) who was like a scary cross between Craig David and Dane Bowers. This is not a good thing. The only asset to his show was the dancers, who were obviously well rehearsed and choreographed. Then came Solange Knowles, Beyonce’s sister. She is absolutely stunning, with a remarkable voice and some decent songs. I wonder if having such a famous and determined sister may actually work against her though.

Destiny’s Child themselves were on top form, though the ballad part in the middle became slightly tedious. It didn’t really matter that I only have their first and second albums as they mainly performed from their impressive back catalogue of singles.

The factor that kept Lee and I on top form was, however, the audience. Very diverse, and some girls in outfits which made me want to refer them to their mothers for some honest clothing advice. Or a good stylist. Or underwear. I didn’t even think it was possible for skinny girls to have droopy breasts, but oh how they strived to prove me wrong.
