Night Shift

Got a call from work yesterday 
, begging me to do the night shift, gave me about three hours to get ready so NO sleep beforehand 
Shift was interesting, several very confused and disorientated patients who couldn't grasp the fact that it was the middle of the night 
. It's so frustarating knowing that all the other patients on the ward are failing to get any much needed rest and there's nothing we can do about it 
.
I don't have a problem with those making the noise, they truly cannot help themselves, dementia is cruel
One of them however was particulary impressive. Aged 100 and didn't look a day over 70. During the day he is pretty much the same when well so his noise was actually a sign that his condition is improving 
One particular benefit of agreeing to the shift at short notice was that I get Saturday off 
Great for Big brother watching and Eurovision

Washing Machine!

Just waiting for the washing machine to finish. Have managed to post the card and got suitcases out of the loft but can't open them as forgotten the combination locks!! Hmmm, perhaps a hammer and chisel?! 
My life does get more interesting than this, promise!!

Last Day Off!!

Can't believe I've got to go back to work tomorrow (12 hour shift!!) Supposed to be ironing uniforms, posting letters, getting suitcases out of loft to search for BF's driving license - don't ask!! Also Going to Cyprus in June - Mental Note: check h2g2 guide to cyprus!! So will need cases anyway.
Nieces birthday tomorrow. Hence card to post! She'll be three, don't see enough of her though. She lives too far away
