Night Shift

Got a call from work yesterday , begging me to do the night shift, gave me about three hours to get ready so NO sleep beforehand
Shift was interesting, several very confused and disorientated patients who couldn't grasp the fact that it was the middle of the night . It's so frustarating knowing that all the other patients on the ward are failing to get any much needed rest and there's nothing we can do about it
.
I don't have a problem with those making the noise, they truly cannot help themselves, dementia is cruel
One of them however was particulary impressive. Aged 100 and didn't look a day over 70. During the day he is pretty much the same when well so his noise was actually a sign that his condition is improving
One particular benefit of agreeing to the shift at short notice was that I get Saturday off Great for Big brother watching and Eurovision
