Hey y'all. I've been pretty blue this week (and month). Gradually getting over a nasty cough. Tomorrow I'm going to see the new Star Trek movie, and I hope it's a fun getaway.

Yesterday K and I dragged my dad and uncle to Superdawg so they could eat Chicago-style dogs. I had fries and tamales. We went back to the old house and hung out for hours, reminiscing and jawing about other stuff.

My uncle dug out some coats and cardigans that belonged to my gram, and a couple of braided rag rugs my great-grandmother made, and gave them to me. And a wedding photo of my grandparents!
