Thick Skin 2 Posted Apr 25, 2010
Well, that worked out well.
An oddity, a man with a mind half of the size of the galaxy offends literally dozens of people. Eventually gets a brief suspension, comes back, then gets banned. Comes in under another name and runs for a few months, before being shot down.
Another man, not so brilliant but with many quality friends. Offends two, and hence their hench-persons. Is pre-modded, then suspended, then banned, ... All in under 40 minutes.
Good thing that some folks have thick skins.

I noticed something oddly ironic but I won't get into it here...
But yes, 40 minutes must be some kind of record. I wish I had friends in such low places. Not only should some folk develop thicker skins, but perhaps some sort of life beyond internet chat forums as well.

Welcome back!
I still need to mail this foot balm for your missus. I'd better hop to it before chilly bath weather sets upon us. I'd been holding off in case there was something else I should send, but I've no idea what that could be.

Ah, you found this thread. It's easy to find my new PS too then, though it is not very different from the last. I removed a few minor bits ...
And you are always welcome to send any bags of cash you might find laying about in the streets.

Just had a sultry day at the Zoo. Thought the forecast was 81° and 10% chance of rain. What we got was 96° and t-showers. Once the sun came out, you could see the steam rising off the pavement as the rain evaporated. You know it's bad when it's cooler in the reptile/bird house than outside. Phew!

Indeed, been in a couple of reptile 'homes' and that is never comfy. We had heat and a steady drizzle. Then out came the sun, ... I'm sure that I heard a low-level foop as the moisture all leap into the air

Oh, and it's raining yet again. We'd already beaten the seasonal rainfall like a month ago or something. If it keeps up, I'll be getting to work by submarine instead of subway.

I think our July set some records for high temps and dryness ... This month is only beginning to make up for the shrivelling of the trees.
I think you and me gotta find some middle territory here ...

I am not allowed another weather dance for 6 days. My last one cleared the way for a pride-parade for Iago ... Can't go in the over-draught with such dances, ya know.
(Scares the squirrels too, just as a btw)
