Yeah classes are good, I had Hum lecture today which was awesome, the prof led the entire freshman class in singing the first line of the Iliad. It was fun! French was a little intense, just cause I haven't done enough. Should be very beneficial for me though, I imagine i will be very good by the end of the year!

Where are you in England? Are you having fun? What are you doing? I love England so much! I can't wait to hear about your university too. I will add you to my email list, and send you a little letter I wrote to all of my friends about college.

I'm reading the Iliad (in English) right now as one of my course books. I like the writing but I think I've had enough of all the graphic descriptions of people killing each other...

Right now I'm in my home town of Leigh on Sea which is a fishing town on the Thames estuary. There isn't much to do here, but there are lots of pretty boats and houses.

We are both on at the same time! Yay!

Yeah, the Iliad is a little wearing. That was the only thing we were supposed to read before we got here, and I have almost finished it now! Hopefully I will finish it today. It gets better about 2/3rds of the way through, so hang in there!

Leigh on Sea sounds really nice. It has been hot here, but today it rained for the first time since I got here. I am not to thrilled about living through the rainy seasons of Oregon, but I suppose I will get used to it. It is about like England I think.

We're having really nice weather right now, which is pleasantly surprising. It's February that I'm worried about, everyone is telling me it's the single worst thing about living in Britain...
