Hi
I came across your personal space through spook's and I read that you live in Thailand. Me and OwlofDoom are planning to go on our honeymoon soon and we would like opinions and advice from anyone who has been there or lives there such as info on climate, best places to visit etc.
We were wondering where to go in Thailand. We are definetely visiting Bangkok but don't know where to go after that. We will probably stay in Bangkok for a couple of days and then spend the rest of the 2 weeks on an island in Thailand. We don't like too touristy places or places where there is little culture or sights so if you could recommend good places since you live there, it would be great!!

hmmm... islands tend to be mainly touristy, but it's not too difficult to avoid that kind of stuff. Just stay away from organised tours and anything like that.
Right now we are in monsoon... but it's not a very bad one. Just don't come in October.
One place I would reccomend you visit while you're in Bangkok is Ko Kret, a small island in the middle of the Chao Phraya (river that runs trough Bankkok). The people there make a living by making pots and cermaics- it's fascinating because it's a tiny bubble in the middle of the city with a totally different way of life.
I hope you enjoy Thailand
