Something funny has happened........
Posted Aug 23, 2005
...... over the last few months, well longer really it's almost a year give or take a few months.
*fiddles with a bit of paper work, breaks off a bit of cake, munches and spills crumbs over said paper work*
I have discovered the people who I really can rely on. The people who don't just want "a peice of me".
The people who don't mind if my contact with them has been erract, people who have gone out of their way to cheer me up, rather than it being the other way around.
The people who have kept things light and airy (I hope you haven't stopped fanning Laud).
Funny really because it's not the people I thought it would be.
funny how life has a habit of sneeking up on you.
*watches the paperwork sneeking out the fax machine and breading with the paperwork already there to make more paperwork*
*spills crumbs over that too, and pops it in the "out" tray*

Dream a little, smooth your day

Now what many of you probably don't know is that Jack has a very calming, relaxing voice.
It's so relaxing in fact that it has a very hypnotic quality about it.
So there I am laid on the sofa with my eyes closed listening to him chat away to me, slowly getting more and more relaxed untill.......
.....I suddenly shout out randomly "He's found the buscuits!" *giggles* now this had nothing what so ever to do with what Jack was talking about *grins* but he must have decided to igore me as I am given to blurting out random things every now and again.
What had, in fact happened, was that Jack had relaxed me so much I'd dropped off to sleep, suddenly woken again and shouted out randomly about buscuits you can tell where my main concerns lie can't you.
Luckliy I am forgiven for dropping off mainly because it made Jack laugh rather alot after I told him about a similar incident in a theatre.
What have I learnt from all this? That in future I should sit in a highly uncomfortable chair so that I won't drop off and give Jack a very good excuse to take the pi$$.

Thank you

A special thank you to all my friends
I know I haven't been around so much but as most, if not all, of you know Jack is ill with cancer and is hogging all my attention right now, and this is just a little note to say I know that your all still there and I haven't forgotten about you. But Jack comes first.
Now for the sloppy bit *hands out the buckets*
Jack I love you very much you are a very special person. And I will probably think this while ever you keep sending me chocolate brownies and ginger buscuits Among other things. And I do love you more </> And I know Jack says I keep his sprits up but more often than not I think it's the other way around .
A special thank you to charlie, who has been a tower of strenght to me. Picking me up and dusting me down, kicking me up the butt when I need it, and general poking me in the ribs and not sharing his jaffa cakes </> This is more than I deserve from any of my friends. The shame of this is, that Jack had to get ill before I realised how much of a good friend charlie is. He even pretends not to mind when I keep pestering him. How good is that? I now recommend that mass pestering of Charlie should now commence from all quaters </>
Thanks to Da Bat and Evangline for plying me with goodies, and trying to give me cankles I think between them they are trying to turn my six pack into a barrell </> Thanks girls your stars and make me feel special.
Reef thanks for sending Jack his ginger buscuits, which of course I am required to taste test before the mighty Jack
Light for popping by every so often to see how things are
Laud for making me laugh
GB thank you so much for all you kind support, I really don't know what I would have done without your shoulder to cry on see people he is really kind don't believe this front he puts up, oh no not at all.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are one of my friends and you are not mentioned here *cough* TB *cough* it means you were too tight to pay the £50 required to advertise your name in this space!
