Mavs in history...

Mavs narrowly miss being put in the history books, again...
This time it was the Laker's comback that would have put the Mavs in the books... Dang LA beat the Mavs with an incredible comeback in the 4th quarter... If the Mavs had lead by a couple more points before the comeback, LA would have had the largest comeback ever... Hopefully Dallas can pull together and beat Golden State to finish off their road trip...

The Contender

I just watched the leftist propaganda movie "The Contender." Didn't like it. I did learn from it though...
1. I will never be in politics (World, national, state, all the way down to interpersonal politics)
2. The means do not justify the ends. (Gary Oldman's character used the wrong means to bring about the right end.)
3. That is about it...

Sports in North Texas...

The Mavs are leading the NBA (only on loss, Indiana is closest with 3 losses) Stars are leading the NHL (Boston not far behind...) Cowboys won two straight(first time in 2 or 3 years I think)... The Rangers released a 5 year plan to win the World Series (no not 5 times, but in five years (maybe 5 times then)...) North TX sports scene is lookin good

Snow!!!

It snowed today... besides skiing, this is only the second time I have seen real snow since I was too small to remember... (Oh sure, my brother and I used to throw "sleet-balls" at each other and call them snowballs, but they weren't really...)

Wow... the Wild will have to pick up the pace if they want to compete with Dallas, the stars spanked them 5-0 in their last meeting!!!
