Well you're not alone on here, there are lots of fellow US researchers. Of course you use a lot of British words, you speak English don't you smiley - tongueout

Where about in the US are you<?> I think there's a US researchers club on here... I'll have a look for you. There are lots of clubs on here... For example. You can claim your official Keeper title, is there something that you think you should be the keeper of<?> Well as long as nobody else has claimed it, you could be the official keeper of it smiley - smiley There's the Procrastinator's Society, but not many people have got around to joining it yet. There is also a campaign to rename Thursday 'Thing' smiley - silly to name but a few... I've got a link somewhere for the clubs you can join on here, I'll have a look and get back to you... Obviously it's entirely up to you if you want to 'join' any of these clubs, but most researchers join at least one at some time or other. There's normally lots of chat going on around the various clubs, so it's a they're good places to get chatting.smiley - ok

I'll go check for those links and get back to you.

Have fun and enjoy!

Hello again smiley - smiley

I'm no expert on GuideML, but I think it's a little like HTML. If you understand the basics of HTML, then I think GuideML should be a doddle smiley - ok

<./>GuideML-Clinic</.> This will take you to the GuideML clinic, it's where you can go to find out more about GuideML, or to ask questions if you're stuck. I can help you with the basics, but if you was having a problem using certain tags, that I've never used, the chances are I would ask a Guru, to help you out.

To be a Guru, you do need to have a good understanding of GuideML, and various other technical details for the site. Guru That will take you to the Guru's page, where you can learn more about becomming one, and about what they actually do. I would however suggest that you leave volunteering to become one, until you're a little more familiar with the workings of the site. If you feel that you know enough, and that you can answer questions about GuideML, (which is what they're asked about most frequently I think), then by all means give it a go smiley - ok

I hope that helps smiley - biggrin

Please feel free to ask me any questions, I'll try my best, if I can't help you, I'll find you someone who can smiley - smiley

Have fun and enjoy!

Hi smiley - smiley

You're very welcome smiley - biggrin

I couldn't really tell you. I'm not sure who it is that deals with new volunteers. You shouldn't have to wait too long for a response though. The people here are normally pretty alert smiley - yikes So hopefully someone will get back to you soon.

Have fun and enjoy!
