OK, I've done some work on this. Let me know what you think.
I'd like to ask you about the title. The present title is great, but not at all informative! For searching and other purposes you need something more descriptive. How about 'Living with Partial Deafness', or 'How to Cope with Impaired Hearing', or something?

It's looking fine to me. Thanks for the links they are great.
About the title, like your suggestions, if possible I would like the title to reflect a sense of humour/light-heartedness rather than studiousness. Perhaps 'Life with partial hearing - Say that again', or similar? what do you think? Happy to go along with one of your suggestions if you are not happy with mine though.
