but i dont know when i,ll be back full time yet ive got my flat but theres a lot of cleaning to do before i can move in & thats wi out the decorating to be done aaaaaargh!

I leave the cleaning to the wife, and only do the decorating when I * realy* have to

the decoratings no problem........i used to do that for a living

but theres been a kitchen fire so theres a lot o smoke damage to clean up.........i,ll be glad when ive got that done

we had a house fire once, and it takes ages to get rid of the smell of smoke

ive just spent over a wk up there cleaning & all the windows open..but the smell of smoke still clings dont it

i was even up there on sunday & the bank hols.......i must be mad but i just wanna hurry up & get in there.........it,ll be worth it in the end tho

I cannot rmember how we finaly got rid of the smell, I think it just went in the end

and the insurance paying for the decorating help

hmmmm! well im gonna get a decorating allowance from the housing.....but that could be months before i get that

im going to get some paper for the kitchen next wk cos thats where the fire started........but im not doing any decorating till ive got the allowance cos if they see i have i,ll get less

I don't know what that do around by you, but around here they give you credit notes and you go and by the stuf with the note, so if you have already got the stuf then you miis out cus there is nt cash back,

so I would be carfull about getting the paper before you get the decorating allowance

thats ok they,ve already told me it,ll be a cheque for bout £200.00 so im ok there & i can always use some of the money for other things i need if i get some of the decorating materials now while im waiting for the cheque

always better to get cash, them credit notes are a pain,

nope aint got a clue could be up to bout 4 wks at a guess but knowing housing it could be even longer
