Ah.... affairs of the heart, I sometimes wonder why we Humans bother. There again they say that the chancing the greatest risk may reap the greatest reward.

Whatever you decide, believe that you have made the right decision and don't dwell on the "What ifs" As surely as one door closes another opens, you just have to find it.

I'm getting better about it. THere's now a glimmer of a chance he'll move here. THe current idea is I work there for a year temporarily after I get finished with college. And if I'm unhappy, he'll try to move....

It's just... I have the tons of family here....

Why can't he teach here for a year!??? Bleh. NOT happy.

Well, I really need to feel that he is more committed to him... that I mean more to him.... I've really been hurt.

More committed to me, rather.... shouldn't you be asleep!??

I'm doing a night shift at w**k. Quiet night as you can see.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but it is a huge undertaking to quit one's job and move halfway across the world to be with someone. I could turn it on it's head and say, why can't you quit college and go and join him if he means so much to you.

I wouldn't blame either of you for being a little thoughful about what to do. I don't know if I could make that decision lightly.

I would say the thing to do is respect and understand his position. If a years separation now leads to a lifetime together, then I would say it will have been worth the wait.

I hope things turn out for the best

TOmorrow school starts, but I'm going to Paris. On Friday, I get back for the Meet on Saturday and then I leave early Sunday morning and go to school on MOnday!!!!

It does - it was a better fix than the previous attempt (even though I say it myself - and the bloke that did it, is supposed to be a bit of a whizz in that particular department)

Wintery mornings are tough!!!!

I used to live in the far North of Scotland and cycled to work all year round. I can remember having to snap snotty icicles out of my mustache.... Getting up out of the saddle to power up a hill meant the sweat on the saddle would freeze!!

I went out in Aviemore one night when the temperature was -24C!!
