Honeycomb

Boil 200g sugar in 4tbs golden syrup until it is the right colour

Then add 1 tbs bicarb and pour into a baking tin or similar lined with baking parchment.


It grows at an alarming rate so watch the floor. I think the recipe may be wrong and that only a teaspoon of bicarb should be added. I have yet to experiment with it again though, although I’m very tempted to have another play now you’ve reminded me about it.

Don't worry, I can't spell to save my life so I wouldn't have noticed.

No, I think B may have been confused by the fact that in a desperate attempt to prevent the stuff going all over the floor I bunged the rapidly overflowing tin onto the oven door whilst I opened the back door to get the stuff outside.

I'm sure with less bicarb it'll work much better.smiley - erm
