Although we had a thunder storm sitting on top of the college for most of the afternoon yesturday. 
Perhaps that's what knocked out our servers.....

We were lucky....2 storms skirted round the city yesterday....again, torrential rain and the River Dee is pretty much at bursting point I think.
The meadows are flooded (natural flood plain) so that takes up much of the slack...but you know the river is high when you can't see the weir!!
The marshes opposite our house are quite boggy now. The drains aren't able to cope with the amount of water that's being drained. Mind you, if they did decide to flood, at least the motorway will get flooded first and that gives me an excuse not to go to work! 
The farmer had to take the cows off them a few days ago.
