Mmm, not a lot really, I do need a new tyre for the car. B can’t come down so I think once I’ve got some food in I’m going to settle down and have a really lazy weekend.

I’m off to the Isle of White on Tuesday to stay with my brother for a bit so the end of the weeks sorted.

I'm off to the parents too look after the livestock whilst they are away.

On the other hand I've the first rehearsal of "Echoes in the Stones" a Son et Lumier that takes place in Tintern Abbey later this summer. I can't wait to get my sword back again.

At least by getting time off during the week there aren't hoards of kids charging about all over the place.

Sorry about the lack of replies.. So bus here im not getting much chance to write. Livestock huh..? Whats that going to be like.. It is good that they have school. I hate being in cardiff when they have holidays..

I know that feeling, you're just about to post and then all hell breaks loose.

The livestock situation isn’t too bad atm. The dog is going with them, he wouldn’t appreciate being left in the house all day whilst I was at work.

So I’ve only got the chickens, ducks, rabbit and guinea pigs to deal with. And I’m under strict instructions not to forget to water the countless delicate seedlings and tender young tomatoes. They mustn’t get too hot, or too cold, or……

Mmm, I imagine Cardiff in the middle of the holidays isn’t somewhere you want to be.

It sucks at the best of times.. Doesn't help that i hate big crowds though.. You have duck's??? WOW, i'd love to have ducks.. Not that my Dog and cats aren't great..

They actually belonged to my brother. We hatched them in an incubator at home and they had their first swim in the kitchen sink on December 1st 1995.

The chickens were mine, again we hatched them in an incubator, and they laid their first egg on 1st December 1995.

Not at all relevant, just one of those dates.

When we both left home we had to leave various pets behind, although the ducks will become a permanent feature both my Mum and Dad like their character.

Ducks are quite messy though are they not..??

Yes, but they had a large pen and at times full run of the garden and vegetable patch. An excellent method of snail and slug control.

Cleaning their pond out each week isn’t so much fun, but the water is great for the tomato plants etc.

Very cute, and complete characters the lot of them.

Get a reasonable sized garden and just keep a couple, they don't need a huge pond, just somewhere to wash and preen.
