Where have I been?

Hmmmm, beginning to wonder if anyone ever sees this site...no, just kidding. Sorry for the long silence again. Back at school and into the swing of things, which is good, though when one doesn't remember how much time homework takes one tends to forget just how hectic life can be (read "Summer makes you forget about pulling all-nighters.") I'm trying to think of ways to make my space more interesting--maybe this will include posting some really neat pictures my roommate will be taking while she's in Italy next semester. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this, and if so, how? And maybe if it's even allowed? Any suggestions about this or even just general improvement are more than welcome!

I'm back

Sorry about the long silence on this page...if anyone ever sees it. 
I've just returned from a rather long "vacation" to Texas, and today's the first time I've really had much access to a computer for quite a while now. I'm looking forward to adding some more to this space soon, though to be honest it might very well be the end of summer before I'm on H2G2 again anywhere close to "semi-consistently." Hope everyone's having a nice summer!

Long time, no see

Hello! It's been quite a while since I was last on here, or at least since I was last on for any significant period of time. Life got extraordinarily hectic at the end of April and literally didn't slow down until just recently. What with the end of classes, the general moving out madness, and all the family events that I've been participating in, there really hasn't been a lot of time to do much else. I'll be traveling for most of the rest of the summer, and so may not be able to regularly update my page, though I haven't been doing that well for quite a while anyway, so... I do, however, hope to get right back into the thick of things in the fall. To anyone who sees this, I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable summer!

All right! I've just finished successfully editing my page into GuideML, and "they're" right--it's definitely a lot more fun to play with than the standard formatting. There are still a few things I want to add, but it's nice to have some idea now of how the language works. Thanks to everybody who gave me suggestions for all their help! Have a wonderful day!

My first attempt

Well, here it is. My first attempt at writing in GuideML. I'm still not really sure what I'm doing but thanks to all for the helpful suggestions; this is going to be something of a trial and error process.
