I don't mind discussing it here, but it may take a while to un-fuzzy the memory (it was a long time ago) write the post.

Serephina, I may have mentioned a little of this to you at the meet but I'm not sure.
B'Elana - OK, but only if you promise not to tell
Okay, here we go.
I was about 14 and with 3 friends. One of 'em (Mark) had an aunt who did a bit of palm/tea leaf reading etc and had shown him a little palm reading. Another (Richard) had had an older brother that died a few years earlier. The other friend with us was Simon.
A few weeks earlier Mark had looked at my Mum's hand and told us that there was half a line in the 'sprogs' bit (my terminology, not his) between the thumb and forefinger. This was when I found out my Mum miscarried what would have been my little brother when I was four. Bit of surprise.
Anyway, on this Saturday afternoon we'd been drinking a bit of cider down the beach, but were relatively together, and ended up going back to Richard's parents place (they were out for the day). After a few hours of doing whatever (predominantly) heterosexual 14 year old boys do on a Saturday afternoon (probably involving an Amstrad computer) somebody had the 'bright' idea of having a go with a ouija board.
We didn't really know what it consisted of so just whacked a bunch of letters from Richard's younger brother's toy box around the dining table, turned the light off, drew the curtains and sat round the table.
Actually, the more I think about this the *less* I want to think about it so I'll summarise:
We all touched the top of a glass in the middle, asked a few trivial questions and received a few rumblimgs from the glass which non of us took seriously. Then Richard asked how his little brother was (he was with Richard's parents at the time) and the glass shot over in my direction. The only one that knew about the miscarriage was Mark, and I was sitting to his side - if he'd pushed the glass that hard we'd have noticed. I'm told I went white as a sheet, knocked my chair over and lay on the floor shaking for 5 minutes.
I remember coming round and wondering what the fuss was, then *remembering* what the fuss was.
That is an abridged version - there were more odd things before the 'brother' thing (which was the biggie) but I don't want to go into too much detail as it does my bleedin' head in.
Needless to say I haven't touched a ouija board since.
And no, I'm not and never have been epileptic

It was bleedin' spooky, and feels a lot freakier than it looks (if you know what I mean).
Serephina - I've tried sending again from my Hotmail account, and haven't had it rejected yet.

Why do you Brits keep all the good stuff to yourselves ? We don't have Dr.Who, or Blake's 7, or haunted somethings

spooky roymondo! Though what strikes me is as your friend was asking about 'his' brother, you perhaps reacted stronger with the new that you wouldve had a brother fresh in your mind?
Supernatural things do happen..powerfulthings..but the mind is very powerful too!
