Dizzy doing nothing..
Lizzbett Posted Feb 17, 2005
The dizziness is almost certainly to do with the cold you've just had. It's a problem I've had intermittently for about 15 years and the merest hint of a cold (eg, a sore throat) can trigger it with me. Lying down will not help at all (I get my worst spinning vertigo in bed) - you need to keep going normally if you can. The bad news is it wont clear up properly until you have completely recovered from your cold but the good news is your brain will learn to compensate for it after a few days.
It's unpleasant and you might find it helpful to avoid flickering screens like your PC and the TV when it is really bad.
Hope you feel better soon.
Liz
