I did! 
its currently bubbling away all in the pot, except the carrots which I'll add a bit later 
I've made an awful lot, so I don't think I'll bother with dumplings, just one of the bread rolls I got today from teh bakery should go well with it right, I'll listen to teh Archurs, and have a cigarette then jump in the shower
