Can you enrol him in Scouts or something? Then they'll take him away for one afternoon a week and make him learn useful stuff.

Get a nice lil paddlin pool from woollies or something, stick im innit with a friend or whatever, or just himself and some toys..
Its like a playpen - you can hang out, just out of splashing reach and you know exactly where he is at all times...cos they tend to hang out in there and not move till you drag em out kicking and screaming or all the water has gone
Other option, if its raining - local library...they sometimes have computer stuff for kids and you can hang out nearby chillin with a book...
El cheapo sand and water pits from Argos for the garden - same as paddling pool they tend to hang out by these things and you don't have to have to many eyes in the back of your head watching em...*chuckles*
Can't think of anything else right now...hope you both have a great Summerski

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jul 23, 2004
Never liked the scouts; I was in for a very* short time... Was in the Boys Brigade (do they still exist?) when quite young, till about I was 9 or something, but never really did much outdoor stuff with them in terms of hiking etc., Did all that myself really, oh, was a member of the canadian cannoe club for that

Both Lucky Star's children are members of Scouts, it does useful stuff for both boys and girls.
Also, they get to go away on camp sometimes, which lets us do useful stuff together!
