I went baack to te drs yesteday as ive been really wheezy n wasnt sure the infectin hed treated me for was fully gone. He tpld me ot was just the heat n to take extra preventer. Fine. I get home n set about using spirit of salts to unblock the sink in the bathroom n descale the toilet , its strong stuff n i managed to breathe in a good lungful of the fumes
Anyway, 430ish thismorning i woke up with a bad asthma atack it wouldnt settle so after about 10 mins of trying to calm it down, at least it felt that long! ged called an ambulance n off to casualty was i whisked. 2 nebulisers, lot of oxygen an annoying canula thing in my arm for bloods, a chest xray and a very sore arterial wrist bllood test (still hurts now) i was sent home.
Couldnt be arsed waiting for someone to come n ytake out the thing in my atrm so i picked up a bandage off a trolly on the way outn tookk it out myself in the carpark whilst waiting for my taxi! made a lovely mess with spurting blood that did ..oops.. but it soon stopped swith the bandage n i was home to a worried josh n ged by 8 am.
so folks, dont clean the toilet

Similar situations here, once the temp hits 35+ I get seriously wheezy. As far as the bog goes; i am a firm beleiver in NO chemicals whatsoever, but, despite the embarassment factor, instruct all visitors to Use the Loo Brush provided & if necessary flush twice.
This does at least ensure someone else cleans the bog; not you. And is good for the environment. Most of these vile chemical cleaning things have the power to destroy lung cells in their jolly little hunt for microbes found in poo. Poo is recycled food, but an inconvenient colour.
Anyway, it seems to work; i have a nice white bog bowl, ask the wretched cat, who drinks from it on occasions; whereas the viking technique of "do not flush if only passing water, but insert vile green stuff once a day" is browner in my opinion. I reckon mine's cleaner but we've just had a heated debate about this.
Awww, thank you for providing us with a topic for debate; we can never think of a subject to argue about.
