i'bve never had a bloodtest in a finger fullstop..but then i have easy veins n whatnot..

They did these ones from a finger because they only needed a few drops of blood - much easier to jab a finger than stick a needle in your arm! Never had any probs with my veins either, when I've had needles stuck in them...

Not really bad... But bad enough to need to go to the opticians!
