I can definitely recommend the copper coil to hormones - I was on the pill, and without hormones, I am very much happier (=less depressed!). Downside is cramps.... But Ibuprofen and paracetamol help.
I wouldn't get injected hormones unless I was very very forced to it. The copper works wonders, and is inserted in a jiffy. Ain't nothing to having a baby, and you tried that...
