Yes, well, it was rather a surprise!
Ah! It's the new self-help book "How to lose 2 stone, gain £1,000 and have happier children" is it? Fantastic.

Can I commission 50 hand-drawn cards for next year, Ged?
I have got most of my pressies sorted out (not bought, but I've thought what to get) except the ones I have to send to England. My mum has already sent the parcel to us. She's so organised, but then, she's a pensioner, so she can get to the shops when they're open.
What do you give two 86-year-olds who have all they want? It gets harder to think of different things year by year, especially as they both have birthdays in November.
Roymondo - are you not going to be at the meet? Or are you buying Seraphina that JD in person?
*stands at back of queue*
Happy present shopping everyone!

Smutty mare!
My mum was the same...she very rarely drank. She'd watch every sip of drink I took, especially when we'd do the 'family get together' thing Knowing I was there under sufference and tend to get a teensy bit sarcastic in situations like that when I've had a drinkypoo.

And what spell will you cast with those ingredients? Don't you need some Eye Of Newt as well?

Actually..'puts geeky head on' , the old recipes that state things like eye of newt, used no such thing! They were old names for plants and herbs . I'm not sure what eye of newt was otherwise called though off the top of my head
