On the subject of pets, (see previous entry "Barney") lets talk about my hamster. Fred is over 4yr old now and is on his road out. Better than your average hamster, Fred's been more like a dog or cat. He comes when you shout his name, he does (well, did) tricks, he was soooo tame. Nice wee thing. Now though, he's ancient (for a hamster) I'm considering taking him to the vet to say "bye.byes" as he's in a bit of a mess. He can hardly walk now, can't open his eyes, doesn't eat & only drinks occasionally. Think it's better for him to end his suffering but I'll be gutted to say goodbye. It's been fun. Poor wee thing. Barney

Barney is our new puppy. He's 7weeks old and very cute. Of the "heinz 57" variety, he's white with tan ears, a long waggy tail and a daft grin. He's a bit mad, so he fits in well in our household. He's housetrained already which is pretty darn good cos he's so young. He's became my shadow and if I'm not about he's kiddo's shadow. His favourite game at the moment is hanging onto the bottom of my trousers being dragged along the floor while I walk. Hopefully he'll grow out of that before he grows up and becomes a 6 stone hefty klingon. He's cool. Glad to have him.

How addicted am I to Big Brother?! I've turned into a bit of couch potato and am constantly glued to the same two channels. Sad? Probably. Fun? Definitely. The voyeur in me is well satisfied!

Finally starting to get the hang of h2g2. (about time, I hear you cry!) Managed to figure out how to put links on my page. Still totally confused by GuideML though. Think I'll stop visiting the <./>GuideMl Clinic</.> though cos it's confusing me even worse! 
Onto other stuff, my new tablets are still helping me in the sun. I now have a suntan for the first time in my life! Fantastic! I look soooo healthy! 
Still single. Not even been looking recently. Nevermind.
The wee boy's joined a karate class. He's loving every minute of it. He's been trying to teach me in the house, but I'm a bit useless!
The Mansun gig last week was good. Not the best gig I've been to, but must admit they play well live. My ann summers party was a much better night though!

Not tomorrow but the next day. 27th birthday. Dreading it! Think to myself, where has the time gone? What should I have done by now that I haven't got around to doing? Why does it only feel like yesterday that I was 17??!! Shouldn't I feel a bit more "grown up" by now?!
