After months of being away caught up in real life I'm finally back to sort out my h2g2 space.
Bear with me til I sort through all the backlog!
Will probably be keeping my head down in here til it's done, so don't be offended if I'm online & don't message anyone. I'll get round to it!

holidays.

Just home from a holiday in Scarborough. It was a nice break from normality. Kiddo really enjoyed himself. There was loads to do there so we done it all! I'm extremely skint now but at least we've had fun! It was nice to get away but I must admit it's nice to be home. Barney was so glad to see us. He's like my shadow now, he must think if I go out of his sight I'll leave him again. No way! We missed him as much as he missed us!
Now I'm back to normality with a vengence. We've brought hundreds of washing home so the machine's on full pelt. The place is a tip with clothes, souvineers etc, all lying about. And I forgot that I'd started decorating my room before we went away so it's only half finished. Oh well!

Didn't get the chance to take Fred to the vet. He died in his sleep, poor wee thing. At least he suffers no more.
Kiddo had a 20minute outburst of grief, weeping & wailing. Then he was fine. Oh to be young again!
Their acceptance of death as part of life is so much better than us as adults.
As for Barney, well he's doing great. Getting bigger by the day, kiddo & him have bonded so well. It's like having 2 kids instead of one!

My son the karate kid! He recently got his "peewee" red belt and certificate. How chuffed is he?! How chuffed am I?! You never know, I could have a karate champ in the making here!!!
