what is ironic, is on the 13th of jan, i could have bought a complete pc set, i won £500 on the scratches.but the long story had started on the 3rd of jan.jim

if a week before i won the £500,haddnt happened, i would have bought a full setup.

telepest completely suprised me when they said after 11th i could dump the modem as they dont take them back anymore, and they are no good to anyone as without the input from broadband they are usless.to say they are woth £170+ it was a shock,lol jim

It seems odd that they can't reuse them in other installations.

at first they said that they would be sending a jiffy bag, then when it didnt turn up i called them, and was told they arnt wanting them back now, no reason given,

my mate next door as cancelled his internet to, and they havent sent him a bag either.

the woman(i think in a funny way)said, sell it on ebay,some have been doing, but they are no good after the link from tw as been stopped, the disc is to one account,or house only.

i was one number off last night again for the £450 3 picks,but one might as well be nothing.

with having things to pay out,and being disabled, the £500 i had, is now about £150.

If you mean the one in h2g2 it's been turned off as it was causing a lot of pressure on the servers. If you mean the BBC one, then you'll have to email me a copy so I can have a look.

apart from a 15 mins stint on one at the library now and then, i dont get to one now myself.

i went out to shipley for the day yesterday(saturday),not anything like i remembered, crappy market, most shops phone or dear clothes,went to what was the glen, but its nothing like i remeber in my childhood days.

the big lake at the second lock as gone,and the canal is all modern and narrow, saw a few barges in the locks, and had a meal at a place called the fisherman.

ive got the ringing in the ears, could be tiitus, had a few tests, but wont be till next wednesday till the doc tells me whats what, could mean a catscan.

they messed me up on here again on the last downtime, as you will know after the h2g2 search, its now a diff list, and i couldnt get on the my space from the h2g2 homepge best link,

i had to find another way on, with luck i found the cult-hitchickers-adams link,using the instigator to,h2g2(by clicking the h2g2 only,let me on the my space section, and i got on that way.

I've noticed it's getting a little difficult to find our way in here sometimes, I usually go through collective then click on "my space" and then use the "My Convo's" link on "My space" which usually brings me in.
Sorry to hear about your hearing problems, I hope you find a solution, as I've heard tinnitus is not very nice.

its a pain at times, its worse after ive been out and about,its not high blood pressure,so could be something and nothing like needs a good seringejim

I've used it myself in the past. Someone on the h2 mailing list suffer's from tinnitus, maybe you should re-subscribe, you could get some pointers.

ive a followup with the doc on wednesday, so i might find out a lot more one way or the other then.

it started as a humming(like a car idoling)then the ringing came on about a week back, the humming as now started to pulsate with any sound over a certain hight, i have to set the tv sound to a set volume, then i can listen to it,
