If you're using digibox or some other form of webtv you may not be able to change your email address due to the limitations of your system. If you can, you change your email address in the Preferences section. You can change the preferences from any computer so perhaps you could use one in your local library or use a mate's.

As Amy said, you need to change it in the preferences. All you need to do is to click the 'preferences' button, and delete the old email address, then add yours. Add your h2g2 password, and update it.

If the digibox prevents you from doing this, then you'll need to make sure that you don't break the <./>HouseRules</.>, so that we don't need to send you an email, or open a new account with your email address set.

I think this is a problem with webtv that we won't be able to fix but I'll try to help.

I use a set-top box, if it's there you are wanting to change address, then click on add address, but you'll need the master password
