Hi mum 
I spent most of today (Sunday) in bed 
with a stomach bug. Feeling a bit better now, though very hungry, but can't eat til tomorrow. 
Michael's just made me a whiskey 'toddy' because I refused to drink water. 
I'll probably speak to you on phone before you read this. Doubt I'll be going to work tomorrow.

I'm back to normal now, (Tuesday) whatever normal is 
didn't go to work yesterday, be going in tomorrow, I'll bet 'my books' will be in a right state, no-one knows how to sort them the way I do, and the way the customers are used to.
The cobblers were ok, even Alex liked them, that was a miracle for little mr chips with everything.
