Emmily I too had a quiet time,always find that Christmas makes me feel so lonely and I begin to dread it earlier each year.Went to a friends house new years eve,but as I was driving I left soon after 12.

You're not missing much geminiMELANIE people tend to go a bit mad and spend too much money over Christmas, buying loads of stuff they don't need. I try to avoid doing that, though I did make sure I had plenty of 
and Baileys (similar). Over Christmas and the New Year I got through three bottles of a cheap imitation of Baileys, but still very nice, and one bottle of Pinacolada (cheap version again). I'm not much of a drinker and probably won't drink again now until my birthday in April and then not until next Christmas.
What's you favourite drink, do you drink much?

Hmmm, ok, I don't think I'll mention the time my ex-next door neighbor gave me white wine in a pint glass...my son, who's 20 years-old now, was 4 years-old at the time, and still remembers the sight of me slowly crawling up the stairs on my hands and knees paralytically 
Not been keen on while wine since then
