Didn't even know you had a didgeridoo!!.
Miss Tish Posted Mar 6, 2002
Hi P ... now I know where you are, expect
lots of replies!! And now you know my
nickname, please don't laugh!! A friend's
boyfriend calls me Morticia, so I
just thought I'd shorten it and use it!
So, when did you get the didge?
And, can you play it?
Is it BLUE???
Hee hee .. much love xx
Didn't even know you had a didgeridoo!!.
Jump the gun Posted Mar 6, 2002
I got it from Oz..I can get a tune out of it,but as for playing it,thats different, ive yet to master the circular breathing thing,so the tune never stops,
and its brown with a Aboriginal Painting on it..
xx

Miss Tish Posted Mar 6, 2002
Perhaps you don't play it enough? A didge played
properly is an awesome sound, I think anyway, but you
probably need a lot of puff to do it!!
I should imagine you have ample!!
Didn't know you'd been to Oz either!!
I'd love to go, to Ayers Rock (don't
know why!)

Practice Makes Perfect!.
Ming Mang Posted Mar 7, 2002
I can't play the dij, no. Although I do know someone who's getting fairly good and also is building up a rather large collection of them...

Hi F-Reek
So you play bass, and sing, and help underprivileged children?
Wow!! I especially admire the helping kids, something I strive to do
too whenever I can. In fact, I'm planning to go to Nepal in September to work as a volunteer for a children's charity (www.childwelfarescheme.org), and have been accepted .. it'll certainly be a challenge, as well as a personally uplifting experience.
So, how good a cook are you? Are we talking cordon bleu, or just the basics!!!
Cook?????
Ming Mang Posted Mar 8, 2002
Ah, I'm glad you're getting used to it.
I've forgotten how longhe's been playing... at least two years, anyway. Maybe three. And I have no idea where he gets them from.
Nepal, eh?

I think I'm actually getting pretty good. I cook lots of healthy stuff and a bit of really naughty stuff. I am extremely enthusiastic, but some of my friends think it's really good. I don't quite have a Michelin star yet... I have a very groovy apron!
Good on you for going to Nepal to help the kids. It's good tp Carpe Diem when possible, and you can never underestimate the value to a child of someone going out of their way to help. It just might be the catalyst for someone to become the next Louis Pasteur or Bryn Tervil or Mother Teresa. Aswell it will give you a better appreciation of life and this will rub off on your family.
