Meeehhh fed up and had enough of DWP. I'm going to sit and stew a while.

Small issue happened with our sg drama. Anthea got really really explosive about it last night because she felt that me being rude and obnoxious to her character was me being rude and obnoxious to her. I said that it was just an rpg and that people in real life are complete sods and I was nice to her in every other thing just not that. She said that people aren't rude to her in real life so shouldn't be in an rpg. I...backed down because it's really not worth arguing over and I like her. But it could have been good! Sigh...smiley - erm

Kham already hates me! I don't need anymore reasons for him to! smiley - yikes

Sigh...I had this great image of this brilliant upstart obnoxious doctor who thinks she's better than everyone else and flirts with everyone just because she can...oh well. Besides anthea got in a stress by saying that "you started it" when actually I never said I HAD been offered her job or anything...I mean heck there's not much scope for promotion when so few people are playing!! I'm just going to hope she stops being tetchy. Ah well.

So how are you doing? How's the cold today?

You could flirt unmercifully with AkronU, he hates talking to himself, don't worry about those two, just leave them to their own little plots and get on with creating your own little world

You're sidestepping the cold question...that suggests it's horrible?

I forgot to add it, It's horrible and I've had to phone in sick to work for the next 2 days, I'm sneezing, coughing, got a sore thoat and my head feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool, at least I can get on with my knitting now

Wow that sounds really yummy! Oh well at least you've got it when everyone has. I always get colds or flu when everyone is fine, in summer or something daft.

Are you vegetarian? I'm asking everyone I talk to because it's become an obsession of: If this person appeared in my house what would I feed them?

KAT MEDS

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby)

No I'm not a Vegetarian but I can offer a few suggestions, Macaroni cheese, cauliflower cheese, quiche, Pizza

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this but those boys are trying to get into every RPG, but not following any of the rules...so...erm....knuckle them down hard at SG? I don't know...I just want to make sure it doesn't go wrong in another RPG for you.

LeRue's ok he's older then Nuge I think and LeRue plays ok in the Magician's guild, don't worry I'm going to keep an eye on them if they step out of line I'll drop a note to Jimster and Natalie the Italic's,

I was thinking of Leaving Clique anyway it is FAR FAR too much like the Jedi Academy for my tastes and Nuge is turning out to be rather a bully

Most hospitals have former patients who have stayed on for some reason or other. Haslar Hospital has many resident ghosts and the following article describes some of the experiences and urban legends this researcher has encountered.

RH Haslar was built on the sea front of Gosport in 1753 and had lavish grounds, said to be the perfect aid to convalescence, whilst the hospital boasted the latest medical practices. St Luke's Chapel was added in 1762 and later still, a landing stage was added so troops could reach the hospital straight from ships.
The GalleyThe Naval term for the kitchen.

Many a lonely night is spent by this researcher, working in the galley. Currently there are three ghosts occupying the area. Michael Connelly, an Irishman who likes the cooking apparently; an angry man called 'Derek', who appears to have died from stab wounds and a lady called 'Margaret' who haunts the spiral staircase. She is believed to have tripped over something before the stairs were built and died as a result.
There is also a spirit who inhabits the old Senior Rates Mess.

'Margaret' was seen by one of the Wardroom stewards a few years ago walking up the spiral staircase. She met an elderly lady coming down and, thinking the lady was lost, the steward asked her if she needed some help. However the lady had vanished. 'Derek' and 'Michael' like to let the Galley workers known that they are there. All the files in the office have been tipped on the floor several times, and the taps have turned on by themselves. The radio turns itself down. This is 'Margaret's' favourite trick as she doesn't like loud noise The evening supervisor has had cutlery thrown around, the kettle has switched itself on, doors open by themselves, it's bitterly cold in some parts of the galley and a favourite of all the ghosts is leaving puddles of water on the floor. The majority of this information was provided by a clairvoyant who works in the hospital

UPDATE

The ghosts’ latest trick is to tap on the window of the Chef's office, which has led this researcher and others to decamp to the public restaurant in a hurry.
Ward B2

In Ward B2, better known as the High Dependency Unit, the nurses have noticed that machinery turns on by itself, but never machines monitoring patients. The area outside the West End door gets really hot and stuffy, it's the only place that is even when the heating is off. This researcher knows, she’s checked and always felt dizzy and sick when going through this door. This ward is now closed and the HDU has been relocated to another part of the hospital.
The Corridor Outside the Operating Theatres
Ask anyone to walk down here by themselves at night and the answer is a resounding ‘No’. Everyone questioned has said they feel as if they're being followed and most feel fear. The author has heard footsteps as she’s walked down it and doesn’t mind admitting that she’s walked extremely fast-almost running-down that corridor when delivering meals to nearby wards. Most members of the nursing staff take the long way around if they have to go from B block to E block.
UPDATE
The clairvoyant managed to contact the spirit residing in the corridor. He died as a result of a botched operation and the following recounts why he is still hanging around; he is also the spirit from the corridor outside the operating theatre. The operation was an emergency procedure, the man was in immense pain in the left side of his head which we think was the result of a blood clot, a cut was made in his left temple to relieve the pressure but he died in the corridor. He is still earthbound because he can only 'move on' when the operation is repeated and the other man dies so the original spirit can guide the other man back to his body, this is because there was no one around to help him when he died. <!---You what?? I’m confused by this sentence-->

The Old Children’s Ward
There is a ghost of a little girl who runs around the top floor of D Block. Not much is known of whom she was and she's not seen a lot these days as that part of the hospital isn't used anymore.
UPDATE
Apparently there was a fire in this particular block in which many children were killed.
The Cellars
The cellars are now closed, but before they were a short cut to the X-Ray department. In the days before anaesthetic the cellars represented the operating theatres and were also where the insane were kept, many people have said you can still hear screams and chains rattle. During W.W.2 the cellars were once again used as operating theatres and also as wards during the height of air raids.
Canada Block
The money used to build this accommodation block was raised by the ‘Women of Canada’ during the Great War. It has been said that a lot of spirits inhabit Canada Block along with unexplained noises and lights turning on and off. The ghost that has been seen the most is that of a nurse who hanged herself during W.W.1. Just to add to this, Canada Block is also built in the site of the original hospital graveyard!

Final Thoughts
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, spending nights alone in an old hospital is rather nerve racking. Not everything can always be explained by old pipes and faulty machinery, and this researcher and others firmly believe that there are still many patients residing in the Royal Hospital Haslar.

Copy all of that into your article on Haslar and see what you think. I'm happy to discuss anything you think needs changing or you think is wrong.
I've done all the work I can think that would be picked up on in PR. Which means that if you want to put this in PR it should shoot through quite fast and I'll request to sub it.

Hope this was useful to you.

All done, I can't send it to PR as it's in WW, can you do it, and you have your name check

Kat - From H2G2

Ah you need to find it in WW and remove it from there, and then resubmit it into PR. I'm not sure I can move it seeing as it's already somewhere. Try that though. If you like I can find it for you in WW.
