I was working last night so I couldn't celebrate, I'll do it tonight and I can't go the the open top bus parade either because I've got to work. I left home to go to work at 5.15 last night and there was no-one about it was a ghost town here, everyone was in the pub, it's going to be some celebration in Portsmouth today, when they got promoted in 2004 60,000 people watched the parade, this time there is going to be more, the entire city (bar 3) will be out today I reckon.

It's always great to see a non-fashionable team get to do these things.
Pity you're working - but it kind of goes with the -job, doesn't it? Mine is always working these days.

Yeah it does seem like that, the commentators in telly yesterday said the atmosphere inside Wembley yesterday was something special because there was no corporate people there because none of the 'Big Four' were playing (We didn't listen to Mark and Motty we used the red button gizmo to get Radio Solent's commentators on the telly) they said that having 'True' fans there made such a difference and it was "Bringing the true spirit of the FA Cup back", which is true I guess, the Big Four are companies more than football teams these days, it's all about money and european silverwear than the fans

I watched the homecoming parade today, it was spectacular to see they reckon 200,000 people were on the streets, impressive as the population of Portsmouth city is 180,000

Everyone's been saying how good it's been to see fan's behaving themselves (after Manchester) There's been a lot of "Back to the good old days of football" stuff, but it was spectacular to see
