That's what I'm trying to do

Why was that removed? All I was asking was that if you hate it you let someone else take it on! It is was removed for 'shit' I'd point out that it's not against the House Rules to say shit! I have appealed that decision.

I tried to take the post on months ago and wasn't allowed, why didn't you just come and ask if I was still interested?

And I did - I even talked about setting up a new email account because we didn't know what the log in details were for the old one, and went round gathering up links of content, then I saw somewhere that Awix and youself had taken it on.

Mina, I never saw any of that conversation I never even knew you wanted to help, there were a lot of crossed wires in those early days.

I've spoken to the Towers and they're happy for me to take it over if you don't want to deal with it anymore.

If you're currently working on an issue, will you finish that one off? Then if you are ok with me taking it on I can start fresh with a new issue.

echomikeromeo has taken over as editor but if it becomes too much (What with her other duties here and her school work) I will point her your way

Yeah, well, someone else said that in June, that they'd take up my offer, yet emails and messages went ignored and no-one ever asked. Then 5 months later I see someone saying they hate the post so much they wish it would die, and some of the responses to people who are trying to be helpful are a disgrace. So again I say I'll take it over - especially as I also saw a message offering it to Mort! But again I'm turned down and told my 'help' is much appreciated and that I'll be contacted, and I bet once again, I won't be.

The only 'help' I'll offer is this - that people are treated with respect, not like a bloody nuisance. The Post was set up and run by people who cared for both it and the site, and I was disgusted when I saw some of the messages that have been posted about it, and saw the people who have been upset.

Actually, ignore all that. I'm making an official take over bid.

I did say I never saw those messages and offers of help and we've all spoken in haste and my takover was never going to be perminant, before she left Shazz did make a tentative effort to see if it was worth keeping the Post going. At least see how Echo copes before attempting a takeover

You're right, things have been said hastily, but I was really devastated when I saw your messages. I would have liked to think that you could have felt able to ask somewhere, even Ask h2g2, if anyone would like to take it over, than carry on doing something you really didn't want to be doing.

I'd suggest that Echo posts too that she'd like to take over too, and see where we go from there. Otherwise it's always going to be offered to people who are in a certain crowd, and it's not going to be fair to those people like me who've waited months for this, then find they're pipped at The Post for the second time.

I'm sorry to see that there's been such a mix-up, and I really don't want this to develop into a divisive debate, but at the same time I really would like my chance at the post.
