Actually, I was listening to Triple M yesterday and they were talking about Richmond supporters and how like they loose a game and everyone starts calling for the coach to retire, the guys talking about it reckoned they were like Hawthorn last year.

Whatever the sport the referees are the most unpopular people ever, I do think the behavoir of English footballers towards the ref is disgraceful they should bring in rules like they do in Rugby, the maximum penelty for verbally abusing a ref or linesman is a season's ban and the max for physical abuse is a life ban, but I don't thinks it's ever happened but punishment is stiff for abusing a ref even down at schoolboy and 'Old Boy's' level, I think a team mate of my ex hubby had a 60 day ban for verbal abuse of a ref

I felt really sorry for James Hird, though. Cause all he said was "Well, the umpiring was pretty bad" as the start and then the Footy Show guys were like asking questions, and then I think it was Eddie who's gone "Come on, you've told us this much, just give us a name" so he did and then he was in so much trouble. Eddie and Sam and them all badgered him into it!
