...missed my Hootooversary, that is.
On Thursday, I was due to celebrate seven long years on this 'ere site.
I do vaguely remember breaking a mirror in 2002, mind you.

How deeply and anally competitive would you have to be to fake your blindness?
My favourite blind cricket quote: "India's blind cricket team has crossed into Pakistan"
Good for them. They were aiming for Bangladesh, of course.

William Peterson - incredible actor or good fortune?
Posted Nov 29, 2008
Engrossed in CaptionX - see previous journal Entry - my perfect opportunity to be spontaneously witty and impress no-one whatsoever - I have Manhunter playing (again) on ITV in the background.
Now, it occurs to me that absolutely everything I have seen William Peterson in - to whit, Manhunter and CSI - he has been utterly, spellbindingly absorbing. However, looking him up on IMDB reveals him to be a bit of a recluse, and he hasn't really done much else of note that I can tell of.
What are we dealing with here? The best actor of the last 25 years, or some mad recluse who happens to be booked by exciting directors?
