ben? this is farlander. i just have a question for you... er, i really don't mind sharing the credit with hell for my homeopathy article because his quote was really insightful - it's just that... why does his name come before mine?

Ah...sorry about that, but they're automatically displayed in U-number order. He registered before you, so he goes higher up in the list.
I believe the Towers are working on a new version of h2g2 to remedy this (you can credit yourself as main author and others as co-authors), otherwise I'm not sure there's anything that can be done.
I can take Hell's name off, no problem and credit him in the text (maybe in 'References', never tried that) if you want.

No, I quite understand. It's happened to me a few times, and I was a bit miffed. I couldn't blame anyone for wanting to have their name at the top of the entry.
I'll talk to TPTB and see if there's any way they can swap it over.

The Powers That Be aka The Editorial Team aka Those Jammy Gits Who Get Paid To Do This Stuff All Day.
I'm not sure there _is_ any way of getting the names swapped over but, as has been said before, we know who wrote it, and that's really all that matters.

yeah... i guess... my ego should be deflated a little anyway - right now it could do major damage to the weather satellites
