Any chance of any Italic presence at the Gilroy Garlic Festival Meet? A813061 I mean, someone needs to compare the Gilroy Garlic Festival with the Isle of Wright one, right?
Yeah, I know it's unlikely, what with airfare and all... *sigh* But according to njan, the sooner you buy tickets, the cheaper it is And there's going to be free accomodation for the meet...

Well Amy, I am always grateful for a mufflewhump (it'll sit alongside the one you gave me when I joined!) so thank you very much!
I will pass on info of the meet-up to the other Italics. Unfortunately San Francisco is quite a long way from Holborn, and there are no airmiles in the h2g2 budget; but you never know!
I'm impressed by the brave timing though - with PaperBaby due on the 20th!

njan and I have already started working on Mina And I know it's unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to ask... And all of you could attend the way I do meets over there
I started planning the meet 'way back in late August--months before I got pregnant! If it weren't for the fact that the venue's date is pretty much set, I'd change it, but... *shrugs*

I just had a look at the Garlic Festival Website. It says the festival is a 'fun and fragrant experience'! Brilliant!
