Gnomon - time to move on Posted Jan 2, 2012
In the resort we stayed in in Lanzarote, I spotted three separate places offering fish nibbling, alongside all the cheap jewellery shops, the restaurants and the tacky souvenirs.
It's supposed to be to remove dead skin from your feet.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jan 5, 2012
I had that happen to me, for free, in... let's see... 1992. At one of the, way back then, rather modest Egyptian seaside resorts by the Red Sea. It was a hot day, and I folded up my (thin cotton) trouser legs and waded into the water, when I suddenly noticed all these little ies pinching my legs. It didn't hurt or anything, but seemed rather odd at the time. I wonder how often the wild variety comes across beings with enough dead skin to nibble on?

I'm imagining them being little inch-long versions of "Jaws". It must be like eating all your chips and being about to start on the steak when the waiter whips the plate away.
"Dammit guys, we were just getting to the good bit and she took her feet out!"
