Hi I'm sub-editing GB's entry A87764575 Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Concert. I understand that the quote at the top of the entry came from you
I'm not quite happy with the part sentence <>.
Does this mean his role was as AME? Or this is a "Nor'n Ireland" way of saying it? I'd like to improve it, if I may.

Hiya! That was how he put it to me, but I'm pretty sure your interpretation is corretc.
To be honest, I don't know if it quite fits in the context of an edited Guide Entry, it's probably too personal, and of little interest to anyone reading the entry.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure the quote was correct.
I think having the quote there is fine. It's a gentle reminder that for the frontstage to work as planned there has to be substantial and largely unseen backstage as well.
