Hi AngelicWitch, here are my comments.

First off, try not to go overboard on the smileys! They look fun to us, but can be really intimidating when there are loads of them in a posting.

Secondly, all the links are great! But why are there they? Think about it from the point of view of the newbie - they know nothing. Who is Feisor? Why should I visit his page?

It is better to do something like this:

We have a Community newspaper on h2g2 called the Post. You can find it each week at <./>thepost</.>. There is normally lots to read and if you feel brave enough you can write for it too!

Does that make sense?

The top caps should realy be taken off if you want to make it stand out then

you can leave a gap between then
