About frontiersman: Back on 19/01/2010
I have been absent from h2g2 for 4 years, and with the coming of BBC iD very shortly, just got back by the skin of my teeth it seems.
No...I haven't been in the Tardis with the Doctor, exploring the universe and experiencing time dilation! "Who?" you ask, "No, not Who" I reply! "Dr No?" you enquire...
...Anyway I'm back; 4 years older, and having had a busy time with the families, and one new granddaughter! The other two grandchildren have grown a lot and are now both at school. Other than that our lives, those of my wife and I, have wound down a bit. But we keep busy: P. my wife still paints watercolours and volunteers at the local Infirmary with the WRVS as a receptionist; I still read (more than ever!) we also listen to music of all kinds, including a good amount of the serious stuff broadly called 'classical'. Still an Advanced Motorist with I.A.M., and a Monarchist with C.M.A., and still like to write as I have all my life, and shall for the remainder of it I hope, memory allowing. But I don't take myself seriously, and nobody else is really advised to do so either...take me seriously I mean! But by all means take yourself seriously, and never apologise for you own failings....everybody has 'em, and nobody else apologises for them !
