You have no doubt noticed most of the researchers have, 'unusual' nicknames. You may wish to join in the general craziness, and give yourself a name, which has the added charm a number lacks! Just click on the 'Preferences' button, and All Will Be Revealed!

If you want to use the smileys -- the little 'emoticons' sprinkled liberally throughout the site, just type the smiley's name between two 'tag' brackets. Like this, but without the spaces: < smiley >

To find more smileys, click on one anywhere, and the smiley home page will open, with a full description and instructions for including smileys in conversations and in Guide Entries.
