Pick a number, any number.
What I put on my high school's "What have you been doing since?" page:
I enrolled in a biochemistry program at NYU, and during some reasearch on the effect of radiation on genes I was bitten by a radioactive spider. I now fight crime all over the city with red lieterhosen pulled over my head. My superhuman strength and newfound ability to walk on walls, and also my uncanny ability to snse impending danger, aid me in my fight against crime. Also, I put my scientific knowledge to work and developed a web-like substance, which I depoly to entangle criminals or to swing between buildings. Jesse Gamble is my nemesis, and he combats me with the frightening menachical tentacles on his suit of armor. I've met and married a red-head named Lucy-Jane, who is tragically unaware of my secret identity yet seems to constantly get tangled in my battles with super-villians. During the day, I am a freelance photographer for a well-known newspaper.
